这棵柏树生长于渭南市白水县仓颉庙内，树龄约5000年，胸围7.28米，根围9.3米，高17米。从树东南方向看，柏树的主干树纹恰似一股巨流倾泻而下，碰到形似石块的树杈后，卷起无数水花，所以又称为“瀑布柏”。仓颉墓位于仓颉庙内，相传当年仓颉选中此地作为墓地，便栽植了这棵柏树，人们称之为“仓颉手植柏”。此柏是庙内最大最古老的柏树，堪与“黄帝手植柏”相媲美。
This great cypress is located at Cang Jie Temple in Baishui County of Weinan City. It features an age of some 5000 years, a height of 17 meters, a girth of 7.28 meters. When Cang Jie, the first person who created Chinese characters, chose the place as his tomb site, he planted this cypress, hence its name “Cypress Planted by Cang Jie.” Seen from southeast, the cortex texture seems like a natural flow of waterfalls, hence its another name “Waterfall Cypress”.
